CUSTOMIZED TOURS / ITINERARIES:
TREK Travel Programs can customize any tour itinerary to meet the
specific needs of your group. Tour pricing will vary depending on
tour destination, mode of transportation, hotels utilized, sightseeing
attractions, tour length, and other determining factors listed in
your trip criteria. Our mission is to develop travel programs that
enhance the learning experience.
TOUR PRICING:
The cost of all tours are quoted per person , based on group size,
and the customized features of your tour. Tour prices will be affected
by choice of hotel, sightseeing attractions, and mode of transportation
selected. Pricing for adults may be higher depending on the actual
tour reservations. Tour pricing will include all components of the
tour package as listed in your specific trip criteria. Final tour
pricing can only be guaranteed upon receipt of your initial deposit.
BOOKING / DEPOSIT:
After having decided upon a tour and receiving a tentative itinerary,
an initial deposit must be received to book your reservations. The
amount of this deposit, usually $ 50.00 per person, will be determined
in your specific trip criteria. Final tour pricing and tour reservations
can only be guaranteed upon receipt of this initial deposit. Within
45 days of departure cancellation fees will apply.
FINAL PAYMENT:
Final payment for tours is due 30-60 days prior to the departure
date. Specific payment due dates will be stated in your written
tour proposal. Final payments are based on the number of participants
and your final rooming list. Travel reservations can only be guaranteed
if final payment is received by the specified due date. Failure
to meet the final payment due date may result in the cancellation
of tour reservations and the assessment of penalties and fees.
COMPLIMENTARY POLICY:
One complimentary chaperon will be provided for every 20 paying
students. If your group requires more than 2 complimentary participants,
please provide that information prior to making the initial tour
deposit so any change in tour pricing can be made.
REFUNDS / CANCELLATION PENALTIES:Full refund for cancellation 45
days or earlier from the departure date. Penalties will apply for
cancellation 45 - 7 days prior to departure. No refunds for cancellation
within 7 days of departure.
RESPONSIBILITY:
TREK Travel Programs and BOWDON COACHES, LLC., its employees, shareholders,
subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, successors, agents,
and assigns (collectively, “TREK Travel Programs”) does
not own or operate any entity which is to or does provide goods
or services for your trip including, for example, lodging facilities,
airline, motorcoach, or other transportation companies, guides or
guide services, local ground operators, providers of optional excursions,
food service providers, etc. All such persons and entities are independent
contractors. As a result, TREK Travel Programs is not liable for
any negligent or willful act or failure to act of any such person
or entity, or of any third party. Without limitation, TREK Travel
Programs is not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage to person
or property, death, delay or inconvenience in connection with the
provision of any goods or services occasioned by or resulting from,
but not limited to, acts of God or force majeure, acts of war or
civil unrest, insurrection or revolt, strikes or other labor activities,
criminal or terrorist activities of any kind, overbooking or downgrading
of accommodations, mechanical or other failure of airplanes, motorcoaches
or other means of transportation or for any failure of any transportation
mechanism to arrive or depart timely, dangers associated with animals,
sanitation problems, food poisoning, lack of quality of medical
care, difficulty in evacuation in case of a medical or other emergency,
or for any other cause beyond the direct control of TREK Travel
Programs.
TREK Travel Programs reserves the right to change hotels or itineraries
at its discretion or the discretion of a local ground operator as
they deem necessary or desirable. TREK Travel Programs reserves
the right to decline to accept or retain any person as a member
of a trip. TREK Travel Programs reserves the right to cancel any
trip with its sole obligation to refund all monies received by it
for the trip. TREK Travel Programs reserves the right to increase
the tour cost if cost of the tour elements goes up. Trip participants
are solely responsible for securing their own passports, visas,
medical inoculations, etc. These terms and conditions can be changed
only pursuant to a writing signed by an officer of TREK Travel Programs.
